Important Update for Employers of Foreign Experts in Israel – Automatic Extension of Work Permits and Licenses:
In light of the current security situation in Israel following Operation “Am K’Lavi,” the Population and Immigration Authority has announced an automatic extension of work permits and licenses for foreign experts holding B-1 visas.
The extension applies to permits and licenses that expired or are set to expire between June 13, 2025 and July 30, 2025. These documents will now remain valid until July 31, 2025.
The extension is processed automatically in the government system – no application submission or fee payment is required.
