Resumption of Airport Operations

As of today, Ben Gurion International Airport has resumed full operations, operating 24 hours a day. Haifa Airport has also reopened, with scheduled operations from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Transportation Minister Miri Regev announced that the Airports Authority is preparing for a gradual return of operations, aiming to fully reopen the country’s airspace in a phased manner

Repatriation Efforts for Foreign Nationals

In response to the closure of airspace, Israel launched a phased airlift operation to bring back the foreign nationals that have left Israel during the war.

The operation has been successful, with over 100,000 people expected to have returned by the end of the day. The returning passengers were fast-tracked through customs and baggage claims before being brought to long-term parking lots or put on trains or free shuttle buses to cities across the country.

International Airlines Express Interest
