The Israeli Foreign Workers Administration is launching a new digital platform that will provide foreign workers with centralized access to all information related to their stay and employment in Israel. The platform will include, among other things, details of the worker’s current employer and previous employers, employment status, a breakdown of deposit funds, and a digitally displayed work permit.

At the same time, the Administration will gradually and in a controlled manner discontinue the issuance of physical work permit stickers in passports, as has been customary until now. The digital permit will replace the need to present the physical sticker, and its new display is identical in all respects to the sticker previously affixed to the foreign worker’s passport.

The transition process to a digital work permit for foreign workers has already begun. Kan-Tor & Acco plays a critical role on the implimentation of the new system, and participated in the piulot process.

Kan-Tor & Acco will continue to lead compliance of employment conditions, and make sure services of foreign workers are not adversely affected.
