The E-1/E-2 Visa Unit within the US Embassy Tel Aviv Branch has advised that they will be scheduling E visa interviews for companies whose applications were submitted prior to the Corona closure. Companies will be contacted according to the date of submission of the E visa application.

Due to Israeli Ministry of Health requirements limiting the number of people allowed in the Embassy at any given time, attorneys  will not be allowed to attend E visa interviews. It is therefore critical that the visa applicant be sufficiently prepared for the interview from the perspective of his/her visa application as well as that of the company.

The Embassy does not have an estimate as to when they will begin be accepting new company applications.
