The Ministry of Interior has extended the validity of Permits provided to Farmers that expire on December 31, 2022 will be automatically extended by the Authority and do not require payment of fees or an application to the Authority. In light of this, the employment permits will not be sent and an update will be made in the authority’s computer systems only.

This extension does not include farmers in whose case an individual decision was given after a hearing to cancel or not extend the employment permit according to Section 12 of the Foreign Workers Law, 5511 1991.

The wording of the message reads as follows: “I would like to inform you that following the inquiries received in our office, in consultation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and in accordance with the decision of the Authority’s CEO Tomer Moskovich, the validity of the permits in the agriculture sector will be temporarily extended for an additional period until February 31, 2023, details below: Permit Expiration It will be valid on December 31, 2022, and will be automatically extended, without the need to apply to the Authority and without the need to pay fees, for three additional months until March 31, 2023.
