Subject to a government decision, only holders of a visitor’s visa (B/2) will be required to take a COVID test before boarding the flight to Israel or before arriving at the land border crossing into Israel. Holders of all other visas (A/1, A/2, A/3, A/4, A/5, B/1, B/3, B/4) – will be exempt from such test.
Holders of a visitor’s visa (B/2) can choose between a PCR test, taken in the 72 hours before the flight or entry to Israel, OR a rapid (antigen) test at an authorized testing site, taken in the 24 hours before the flight or entry into Israel. The rapid (antigen) test must be carried out by a professional sampler (not an at-home test).
