As a result of the high COVID-19 infection rate, the Israeli government has decided today that the current lockdown will be extended until midnight, January 31, 2021.
It was also decided that as of January 23, 2021, all airline passengers boarding flights to Israel, including Israeli citizens, residents, and foreign expert working in Israel under a B-1 work visa in Israel, will be permitted to board an aircraft only if they:
a. have received a negative COVID-19 test result within three calendar days before departure; or
b. “Documentation of Recovery,” meaning written or electronic documentation issued by the Israeli Ministry of Health; or
c. “Documentation of COVID-19 Vaccination,” meaning written or electronic documentation issued by the Israeli Ministry of Health.
