Visa Waiver Program between Israel and Belarus

January 19, 2016

The Visa Waiver Program between Israel and Belarus has been signed upon the conclusion of negotiations between the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem and the Government of Belarus. The program will take effect on September 1, 2015 for Belarus nationals seeking entry into Israel for tourism and business and from November 26, 2015 for Israeli nationals seeking entry into Belarus.

Despite the implementation of the Waiver Program, it was declared by the Ministry of Interior in Israel that Belarus nationals that have been denied entry or were deported from Israel in the past, will nevertheless have to seek a visa prior to travel.
