The National insurance institute in Israel has published today an updated average salary for 2016 of 9,334NIS.
This means that the new gross base monthly salary for experts effective from 1/1/2016 is 18,668 NIS (instead of 18,246 NIS in 2015).
Immediate Action required: all employers must adjust the salary of their foreign employees accordingly.
The above does not affect experts that hold a working visa under SEA (Short Employment Authorization for 45 days) or STEP (Short Term expedited process for up to 90 days) categories.
